Banc of America Securities in New York has hired Amir Gotlib, v.p. in product solutions with Lazard Frères & Co., as v.p. in its new products group, led by managing director Al Grumet. Within the new products group, Gotlib said he is part of the capital markets and derivatives solutions team, reporting to Craig McCracken, a principal.
At Lazard, Gotlib reported to Eli Fink, who was traveling and could not be reached for comment. Lazard spokesman Richard Silverman did not return calls.
