Calyon has hired David Hitchins from Bank of America as head of fx options trading in London. Reached at Calyon, Hitchins said he started three weeks ago, declining further comment.
Hitchins reportedly replaces Derek Sammann, former head of fx options trading at Calyon, whose whereabouts could not be determined. Marine Dressayre, Calyon spokeswoman, declined all comment. Liz Wood, BofA spokeswoman, did not immediately return a call about Hitchins' replacement.
Separately, Peter Billington, senior fx options trader, has left Calyon.
