EU and Austrian pair mandate as top tier dominates pipeline
The European Union mandated five banks for a long 15 year benchmark on Monday afternoon, while The Republic of Austria also announced a new syndicated euro benchmark. KfW is among the few other issuers said to be looking at the market this week, ahead of an EU summit beginning on Thursday. Austrian-guaranteed Oesterreichische Kontrollbank (OKB) also announced a three year dollar trade.
