Spain avoids disaster with double auction
Spain battled through long two and 10 year auctions on Thursday morning to live to fight another day. Although the response to the auctions was far from a reassuring, crisis-ending vote of confidence in the Spanish government debt market, dealers were relieved to see a disaster avoided.
