With the end of the first quarter fast approaching, the Slovak Republic’s timing to launch its debut Swiss franc transaction on Wednesday was not an obvious choice. But with no competing issuance, strong rarity value and a recent undersupply of high yielding paper, the inaugural trade – a dual tranche effort – is bound to turn heads in the market.
