Balance sheet exposure to airlines under review as global air industry faces crisis
Aircraft financiers retreated even further into their shells this week as EuroWeek tried to find out from bankers the extent of their exposure to the troubled airlines sector. Since the beginning of 2000, Dealogic estimates that 127 syndicated loans totalling over $36bn have been provided to the aviation industry.
