Clarke Harris, chairman and ceo of the European arm of Entergy-Koch Trading, left the energy trading house last week.
Dawn Thirley, head of human resources in London, said she is unaware of why Harris left, but traders at other firms describe the move as unexpected. Stephanie Goodman, an Entergy-Koch spokeswoman in Houston, did not return calls.
The departure will not affect the company's trading activity, according to Thirley. "It's business as usual," she adds. Uday Narang will continue to head up European energy trading, she said. Narang was out of the office and could not be reached.
