Aanders Haagen, formerly v.p. of structured credit products at Bank of America in Hong Kong, is joining ABN AMRO in Singapore, according to a market official familiar with the move. He is expected to start in two weeks. Haagen did not return calls.
Haagen, who left BofA last year to work for Kompass (Hong Kong)--a business-to-business search-engine (DW, 3/20/00), has worked in the Asian financial markets for over a decade, noted the market official. Aashish Ponda, head of credit derivatives for Asia-excluding Japan at ABN in Singapore, declined comment.
