"The role is looking at structured credit connections and delivering these products to different types of institutions," Falk said. He reports to Brian Reid, managing director and head of the institutional client group in New York. Reid said Falk's background on the ABS side will be instrumental in structured credit.
Falk will also co-head ABS and commercial mortgage-backed sales along with Munir Dauhajre, who is also head of cross-rates sales. Dauhajre recently joined from Merrill Lynch (DW, 6/16). Reid said Falk's transfer and Dauhajre's hire effectively replace Suzanne Cain as head of fixed-income derivatives marketing. Cain joined Morgan Stanley (DW, 6/20). Frank Byrne has also transferred internally to replace Falk as head of ABCP and conduits.
