ABN AMRO recently hired Rajiv Baruah, co-head of Indian global markets at Deutsche Bank in Mumbai, as v.p. and derivatives marketer in the Asian debt markets origination group in Singapore. Baruah confirmed the move but declined further comment.
Baruah reports jointly to Jamie McWilliam, head of derivatives marketing in Hong Kong, and C.H. Lee, regional head of debt capital markets in Hong Kong. Lee said Baruah is a replacement for Jayakumar Ganapathy, derivatives marketer in Singapore, who recently transferred to the London office.
At Deutsche Bank, Baruah reported to Henry Rishotte, head of sales for Asia ex-Japan global markets in Singapore. Rishotte was traveling and could not be reached.
