Dresdner Kleinwort Wasserstein has hired former Merrill Lynch pro Mark Enman to head bond and interest-rate derivatives trading in the U.S. Enman said he is taking on a newly created role in which he is responsible for Treasuries, agencies, interest rate swaps and options. He previously ran Merrill's European interest rate swaps trading business, but had moved to U.S. institutional equities by the time he left in March.
Enman is Dresdner's most high profile derivatives hire in the U.S. since landing Michael Ice, former managing director and North American head of rates, sales structuring and marketing at UBS in Stamford, Conn., last December as managing director heading the firm's financial institutions group (DW, 12/8). Enman reports to Thomas Roeder, global head of treasury product in Frankfurt, and Craig Schiffer, head of capital markets in New York.
