CDC IXIS North America has hired Peter DeCrem, head of interest-rate derivatives trading at WestLB in New York, as a managing director. The exact role DeCrem is undertaking at the firm could not be determined, with officials saying his responsibilities may not yet be defined due to the French firm undergoing a reorganization. DeCrem declined comment. Janine Shagoury, spokeswoman in New York, did not return calls.
Katrin Lieberwirth, spokeswoman at WestLB in New York, said Chul Park, an executive director in interest-rate swaps and option trading, has assumed DeCrem's responsibilities.
