Morgan Stanley is bringing aboard Helena Chen, fixed income and derivatives marketer at Crédit Lyonnais in Taipei, in a similar role for its Hong Kong desk. Chen, starting later this month, will report to Jia Lin Liu, head of fixed income in Hong Kong. Liu did not respond to messages.
Chen, formerly a senior manager at Toronto-Dominion Bank in Taipei prior to her stint at Lyonnais (DW, 4/29/02), could not be reached. She reported to Frédéric Lainé, Asian head of fixed income at Lyonnais in Hong Kong. Lainé, who will become the Asian head of rates and fx under the new entity CALYON in the coming weeks (DW, 2/8), declined all comment.
