Thomas Tziavragos, a senior foreign exchange options trader at Barclays Capital in New York, has rejoined JPMorgan in a similar role. He will be responsible for trading euro/dollar and cable options, which he also traded at Barclays, he said.
JPMorgan recently reshuffled its trading team after some departures to Merrill Lynch, noted an official, adding Tziavragos has not directly replaced any departing trader.
Karina Byrne, spokeswoman at Barclays in New York, said existing members of the team have assumed his responsibilities.
