BNP Paribas in London has hired James Coiley, associate solicitor in the securities and structured finance practice at Ashurst. Coiley, who joins this week, will head structured derivatives products within the legal team, confirmed Celeste Matta-Brown, spokeswoman for BNP. Coiley has written Learning Curve articles for DW on credit derivatives and structured finance (DW, 23/02).
At Ashurst, Coiley reported to Chris Georgiou, partner at the firm in London. Georgiou did not return calls. Coiley could not be reached.
