Steven Oyer, managing director responsible for hedge fund index sales for Standard & Poor's in New York, has jumped to investment manager PlusFunds Group. He follows Paul Aaronson, who left his position as an executive managing director with S&P a few months ago to become Plusfunds' ceo.
Oyer has been hired as a managing director reporting to Aaronson and will handle global business development of PlusFunds' managed accounts, which the S&P Hedge Fund Index references. Oyer said clients can structure products on the index level, strategy level and single manager level.
