Karim Awenat, a credit trader at Goldman Sachs in London, has jumped to JPMorgan to join the credit hybrids desk.

Karim Awenat, a credit trader at Goldman Sachs in London, has jumped to JPMorgan to join the credit hybrids desk. Awenat, who is on gardening leave, will report to Jonathan Slater, head of the credit hybrids team. Slater could not be reached for comment. Sarah Oppler, spokeswoman for JPMorgan in London, confirmed the hire and said he is an addition to the team. He begins next month.

Awenat leaves Goldman after almost four years. Rebecca Nelson, spokeswoman for Goldman in London, could not confirm by press time who Awenat reported to or if he has been replaced.
