ABN AMRO has hired a pair of derivatives sales staffers as part of an effort to expand its cross-asset private investor products group. Eric Miller, executive director and head of sales for private investor products, North America, and Jeff Goldstein, v.p. of sales for private investor products, North America, joined the retail derivatives group last week, reporting to Chris Warren, head of private investor products, North America. The group distributes structured products across all asset classes, including fixed income, equity, inflation and commodities, to retail investors. Spokesman Patrick Phalon confirmed the hires.
Kris Kagel, spokesman for UBS where Miller joins from, declined comment and Renu Aldrich, spokeswoman for Bear Stearns where Goldstein was stationed, did not return phone calls by press time.
