Tim Collins, director in equity derivatives at Merrill Lynch in New York, has left the firm. He is reported to be heading for Lehman Brothers to take an equity derivative sales position, but this could not be confirmed. Terez Hanhan, Merrill spokeswoman, did not immediately return calls, and Tasha Pelio, Lehman spokeswoman, declined comment.
