ABN AMRO last week hired Muse Kwong, structurer at UBS in Hong Kong, as regional head of the derivatives solutions group in Hong Kong. The group is responsible for coming up with structured product ideas across all asset classes, working alongside the financial markets sales team. Kwong replaces Jamie McWilliam, Asian head of the derivatives solutions group, who recently left the firm to take time out of the industry (DW, 4/28), said Hui Yuk Min, spokeswoman. Kwong has also held structuring roles at Lehman Brothers and Merrill Lynch (DW, 4/7/03).
Mark Panday, spokesman at UBS, said the bank is now seeking a replacement.
