UBS loses global loans head

UBS’s head of global syndicated finance for Europe and Asia, Jonathan Macdonald, has left the bank after 20 years at the firm. His last day at UBS was on Wednesday. The news surprised friends and colleagues both inside and outside UBS as Macdonald is one of the most experienced loan bankers in the market, and was co-chair of the bank’s commitments committee.
