Russian loan mart not popular, says VTB chief

VTB Capital’s global chief executive, Yuri Soloviev, says Russia’s syndicated loan market will not return to its pre-crisis glory days. Speaking to EuroWeek in Hong Kong, he said Russian borrowers would be wary of foreign lenders, at least in the short term, because of how quickly they fled during 2007/09 financial crisis.
