Banks flock to Linde despite criticism
Germany’s Linde signed its forward start on Wednesday, with the deal closing substantially oversubscribed despite early criticism from many bankers. The industrial gases company raised over Eu2bn from 23 banks, allowing it to increase the facility from Eu1.5bn to Eu1.6bn and for its lenders to be scaled back.
