India’s smaller banks eye loan market funds
Two small Indian banks are looking to emulate the success of their larger rivals — by tapping the international loan market. But although Uco Bank and Syndicate Bank each want to raise less than $100m, bankers warned that they will have to pay up or structure shorter maturities to attract lenders already awash with Indian credits.
