Newmont back in loan market as stake sale nears
Indonesian miner Newmont Nusa Tenggara (NNT) has approached lenders with a $600m loan, ending a five month wait for bankers that expected the deal in November. They had to wait as the company struggled to reach an agreement with the government on a stake sale, but bankers think that agreement will be finalised next week.
