EBRD steps closer to Middle East and North Africa lending
The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development has moved closer to expanding its remit to include investment in the Middle East and North Africa. Speaking at the bank’s annual meeting in Astana over the weekend, the bank’s president, Thomas Mirow said that it would have the capacity to invest up to Eu2.5bn in the region.
