Novel U.S. Emissions Option Debuts

The first over-the-counter option to reference carbon reserve tonnes (CRTs), a type of emissions credit accredited by the voluntary Climate Action Reserve, has been completed in the U.S. and was documented late last month. Evolution Markets brokered the call option linked to CRTs from a domestic landfill gas project.
