SSA business prepares for painful end to 2011
The inability of the European Financial Stability Facility to come to the market this week highlighted the difficulties faced by even the highest rated issuers in the sovereign, supranational and agency arena. Europe’s rescue fund is set to try again next week but bankers remain gloomy about the health of the SSA market for the rest of 2011 and are poised to rip up existing business models.
