Transport for London ushers in new sector for sterling
Transport for London (TfL) sold its first bond since 2006 on Thursday afternoon — a £500m 30 year print which is the first clip of £1.6bn of funding that the issuer intends to raise in the bond markets over the next three years. The deal inaugurates a new sector in the sterling market, said one of the leads.
