Lawmaker Wins Derivatives Regs Delay
Rep. Scott Garrett (R-N.J.) has won a delay for implementation of certain derivatives regulations for at least 12 months through an amendment to a bill passed by the House of Representatives that would slash the budget for the U.S. Commodities Futures Trading Commission by 15%, or USD30 million.
