E.U. Blasts Banks For Hiding Derivatives Losses
European Union lawmakers have criticized Deutsche Bank and Banca Monte dei Paschi di Siena for an arrangement through which the German bank loaned the Italian lender roughly EUR1.5 billion (USD2 billion) to mitigate EUR367 million (USD489 million) in losses from a derivatives deal with Deutsche.
