Buysiders, Dealers Battle Over Clearing

Buyside firms and dealers have been engaged in increasingly contentious negotiations over the Clearing Addendum, which the International Swaps and Derivatives Association and Futures Industry Association introduced in 2010 for developing a template that both sides would use for documenting the relationship between clearing members and their clients clearing over-the-counter swaps.
