Investors question whether US can top 3% in 10s

The latest US inflation figures have firmed up expectations that the Federal Reserve will up its target rate at the next meeting of the Federal Open Market Committee next week and that there will be a total of four hikes this year. But some strategists doubt that the 10 year US Treasury yield will top 3% in 2018 — potentially dampening demand for 10 year dollar SSA issuance.
