Traders and investors who sashayed over to Connelly's Pub after LMW's Best Trading Desk ceremony at the Palace last Thursday just missed a brush with greatness. Not long after the hearty partiers were booted from the Palace, Michael Jordan was spotted in front of the hotel on his cell phone waiting for a cab. A crowd of gawkers lined up and politely waited for him to get off the phone so they could ask for autographs. Alas, his Airness never did get off the phone and he jumped into a cab. There seems to be no truth to the rumor that he was overheard saying, "No, CSFB won distressed. J.P. Morgan won par and overall."
