The summer season in the loan market will be anything but listless as corporate treasurers stay at their desks to chip away at the glut of refinancings expected in the next few months.

While margins are tighter than they have been for the last two years, companies fear that another bout of macroeconomic volatility lurks around the next corner. This would push prices wider once again, so many feel it pays to act now rather than later.
