Amplifon’s NHC acquisition loan will be oversubscribed

A loan facility supporting Italian hearing aid company Amplifon’s acquisition of the Australian National Hearing Care (NHC) will be oversubscribed after the first round of syndication, said bankers close to the deal.

The Eu353.8bn loan, which has an Australian dollar carve-out, is expected to be closed at the end of the month. The five year deal comprises an amortising Eu270m ‘A’ piece, an amortising Eu53.8m ‘B’ tranche and a Eu30m private placement back-up line with a bullet maturity.
