Cades to sign loan as long term funding needs triple

Caisse d’Amortissement de la Dette Sociale (Cades) is set to sign a new Eu12bn syndicated loan as a back-up facility. The agency's long-term funding programme for 2011 is more than three times higher than last year.

The agency raised Eu11.1bn of long term funding in 2010, but has increased its target for 2011 to Eu35bn. Although its funding needs fell in 2010 from 2009, when it raised Eu25.8bn in long term financing, Cades expects its needs to remain high for the next two years. ...
