Favourable wind for Gamesa and Vesta refis

Wind energy companies Gamesa and Vestas Wind Systems have each signed syndicated revolving credit facilities this week, with both transactions being oversubscribed in syndication.

Spanish firm Gamesa signed a Eu1.2bn loan facility, while Denmark’s Vestas signed a Eu1.3bn revolver.

Commerzbank and DnB NOR led the deal for Vestas, which has a five year tenor with two one year extension options, as joint co-ordinators and bookrunners. Six further banks participated in the transaction.
