SG makes Blasco new head of leverage syndicate

Société Générale has appointed Ignacio Blasco as head of leveraged capital markets in its EMEA loan syndicate, based in London. He will replace Alaric Fountain-Barber, who left the bank to join UBS in June.

Blasco had been head of leveraged finance in Spain and Portugal for Société Générale since 2004, and he is being replaced in the Madrid office by Ricardo García-Lliberós, who has been at the bank since 2005.
