CEE’s Euromedic closes €250m syndication

Syndication of healthcare provider Euromedic’s €250m of senior loans has closed oversubscribed. The facilities, alongside the proceeds of the company’s sale of its dialysis division to Fresenius, will be used to refinance existing debt.

ING and UniCredit were bookrunners on the loan, which includes undrawn lines, has a tenor of five years and will pay 225bp.

Euromedic’s holding company is Dutch, but the firm was founded in Hungary, has much of its business in CEE and only expanded to western Europe in 2007. ...
