  • Peter Hurd joined Nomura’s loan and high yield capital markets team in London on Monday. He was hired from New Amsterdam Capital in London, where he was an executive director. Before he joined the investment firm in 2006, he worked in leveraged finance at JPMorgan and Picus Capital.
  • Bank of America Merrill Lynch has added Gonzalo Isaacs to its Latin America team to head syndications. Isaacs should join next month as managing director in the investment grade loan syndication group covering Latin America. Isaacs joins from BNP Paribas, where he had been a managing executive director.

  • RBS Securities has hired John Sullivan as a managing director in its loan markets origination team within its global banking and markets division in the Americas, as the bank continues to build its debt origination and syndicate group in the region.
