BNP Paribas has promoted Mark Pegrum to head of non-French corporate origination in its EMEA loans team. He will replace Simon Allocca, who resigned from the bank last week.

Société Générale is set to create a dedicated non-investment grade debt capital markets team to boost its high yield capacity, which will be up and running by September. Ricardo Coats has joined Crédit Agricole as executive director in its high yield team in London. Coats worked at Citi in European leveraged finance from 2000 to 2009 and was responsible for executing high yield bonds, leveraged loans and mezzanine deals.
