Deutsche Post DHL Group secured excellent terms on Wednesday when it issued a €1bn convertible bond at a negative yield, despite investors having been distracted by a collapse in the share and bond prices of equity-linked regular Steinhoff International on the same day.

Deutsche Bank shook up the senior ranks of its equity capital markets desk in Asia this week, removing the co-head structure and merging ECM with equity derivatives. Maisons du Monde, the French furniture retailer, has issued its first ever convertible bond, raising €200m to refinance a term loan. The deal was eight times oversubscribed and priced at the best end of terms for the issuer.
