The new Eu2bn 30 non-call 10 year tier two issue for German insurance company Allianz weakened in the secondary market despite the heavy level of oversubscription on the deal. The bonds were 5bp-6bp wider on Wednesday morning, leading some market participants away from the trade to say that the issuer had taken too much out of the market.
