UniCredit adds to Rast's roster with dep chief job
Monika Rast, UniCredit's head of multinational corporates, is taking on the additional title of deputy head of the corporate and investment bank for Germany.
The new post tasks Rast with "identifying, exploring and and further expanding business opportunities, and in monitoring all client-related activities for CIB Germany, jointly with all local product teams and governing CIB Germany processes and initiatives," said an internal memo, seen by GlobalCapital.
She will also be a "permanent guest" of the CIB executive committee.
Rast will still report to Jan Kupfer, head of the CIB for Germany and deputy head of the the group CIB division. He is also a member of UniCredit Bank AG's management board.
Rast was previously head of investment banking for corporate clients and before that ran FIG debt capital markets origination at the bank, which she joined as a trainee in 1998.
