Nomura beefs up wealth management business

Nomura has added more than 20 private bankers and investment advisers in Hong Kong and Singapore as part of its strategy to boost its wealth management business in Asia and globally.

The new hires come after the Japanese lender combined its international wealth management unit with its wholesale banking business, and appointed Ravi Raju to lead the wealth management division last September.
