Sterling start for BNP Paribas

BNP Paribas offered investors their first chance to pick up sterling paper from a financial institution this year, printing 10 year paper on Wednesday at a cheap level compared to its outstanding euro and sterling curves.

“This looks to have gone incredibly well,” said a syndicate banker not involved with the deal. “I think it’s fair to say this kind of product is exactly what people are looking for in sterling right now.”
