Pakistan calls for banks for new bond programme

The government of Pakistan is seeking banks to offer advice on the sale of planned dollar bonds and sukuk in the international capital market.
Pakistan’s ministry of finance published the request for proposals on its website on Wednesday. The sovereign plans to set up a medium term note programme, to be valid initially for one year, so it can issue dollar-denominated Eurobonds and sukuk internationally.
