GlobalCapital Asia is pleased to invite pitches for our annual capital markets and investment banking awards, which recognise the most impressive transactions and investment banks of 2020.

Our decisions will be made based on pitch documents submitted by banks and meetings with our team of journalists and editors, to be held either virtually or in-person.

Banks should submit their written pitches by October 16, 2020. The aim of the written submission is to allow each bank, in its own words, to tell the story of its achievements, innovations and performance during the awards period, backed up where relevant by supporting data from Dealogic, as well as client testimonials.

Once submissions are received, our team of journalists will then shortlist candidates in each category before arranging pitch meetings or calls between mid-October and mid-November. Pitching is essential to be considered for an award.

The awards period runs from November 16, 2019 to November 15, 2020. We will accept supplementary written pitches for deals that are priced after the banks submit their pitches but which fall in the awards period.

The results of the awards will be released online in mid-December. There is no fee to participate. Please note all the categories are for regional Asia awards and are not country specific. Pitch documents should be no longer than six pages.

See below for all the important details and guidelines for the pitches. We look forward to receiving your submissions.
