UK home emergency and repair company Homeserve has entered the US private placement market, according to sources, looking for at least £125m.

Lloyds is arranging the deal, offering maturities between seven and 12 years. The initial target is £125m, but that could rise.

Homeserve sold $230m-equivalent US private placements in sterling and dollars in October 2018. This was its first foray into debt capital markets beyond syndicated loans.
